La Regalade
This is Yves Camdeborde’s first restaurant, and still requires booking at least 3 days in advance. The menu is fixed at 32 euros for 3 courses, and is extremely popular for the quality of the food. The menu consists of a choice of 10 items for starter and mains and changes with the season. However expect the stables like ‘foie gras’, ‘flan in a creamy chanterelle mushroom broth’, ‘pigeon breast roasted on the bone’, ‘roast Pyrénéan lamb or filet of wild boar with a red-wine sauce’. Desserts are equally impressive as you would expect from this fine French restauranteur. Also recommend Le Comptoir in the 6th.
