Musée du Luxembourg
This wonderful Palace was built for Marie de Médicis. Two large galleries hold a cycle of 24 Rubens of the queen. Many other artists are exhibited including Delacroix, Picasso and Degas. Various exhibitions throughout the year.
Admission: Full Fee 11 € - Under 10 yrs free. Reduced for pension and disabled.
Metro : Saint Sulpice, Odeon or Rennes.
Open daily: Monday, Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m; Saturday, Sunday and holydays from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Musée du Quai Branly
Opened in 2006 it is now one of the most important museums in Paris with a never-ending list of exhibitions and events covering various arts and artists from all corners of the globe. Check out their website for the latest photographic or cultural exchange exhibition. There is a cafe and a very fine dining restaurant on the top of the building, with wonderful views across Paris.

Musée Guimet
Created by Monsieur Emile Guimet who travels to Ancient Egypt, Asia and Greece saw him acquire an extensive collection of objects, which, today has grown to cover all areas of Asia. This extensive collection enables the viewer to gain a greater appreciation and knowledge of Asian countries and their traditions and culture.

Jardin Shakespeare - Open Air Theatre
Bring the wine and blanket (maybe from the hotel) relax on the grass and watch some fine performances (in French and English). Each year there's a different theme; in addition to Shakespeare see traditional Scottish folk dancers, an opera by Mozart and plays by Molière and Montherlant.

After extensive renovations, this building and its gardens have been totally transformed. Enjoy the extensive art collection and grand architecture; there's a cafe adjacent to the gardens, all in the spirit of Paris in the 1900s.
