Le mini Palais

This new ultra contemporary café/restaurant is situated on the terrace of the Petit Palais. Blending the ancient columns with 70’s interior, this place should be a hit, but the news is there are lots of ‘teething’ problems. Choose from tapas style dishes, sandwiches or opts for Gourmandes, ‘Fois gras à la crème brûlée’.

They also have a menu enfant (Mini burger and ice cream + drink for 15 euros). Openn Daily

Buddha Bar

This venue is all about spice, beautiful people, exotic flavours and some very upbeat music. It's a scene from New York rather than Paris. A large converted basement with incredibly high ceilings. Elegant, dark and of course there's always the beat from the famous Buddha Bar music in the background.

I was a little disappointed with the cuisine, not spicy enough for me, I prefer roadside Thai, the more chili the better. But its hip and happy, service was ok, a little attitude but attentive enough meaning we got our meals eventually.
